Hockerill Dental has served patients in and around Bishops’ Stortford since 1960. We provide private dental care to patients across Hertfordshire. Our team specialises in dealing with patients who are nervous about visiting the dentist. We offer a calming and professional approach to those with dental phobias. Our surgery and dentists adhere to the rules governing the dental profession. All of our staff are GDC registered dentists. Being embarrassed about your teeth can affect your whole life, emotionally and physically. You can be perceived as sulky or rude if you don’t smile or smile behind your hand. It can even hinder relationships and can lead to low self esteem and lost of confidence. Being apprehensive about visiting a dentist is normal. Some people have a genuine phobia which we understand.
